Our services and resources will always remain free to our customers, but there are many excellent paid recruiting services that can make an impact when connecting the dots between high school athletes and college coaches.
Why are recruiting services needed?
As mentioned, small school programs do not have a big-time budget which restricts their ability to travel across the nation on recruiting trips. They do not have 10-20 people recruiting, checking emails, and filtering athletes to their position coaches. Their coaching staff is their recruiting team, they must coach all day and scout all night. They do more work, for less compensation, and must abide by the same rules. The NCAA uses a recruiting calendar as to when and where college coaches can recruit athletes.
Personalized services are essentially used as an individualized filtering team. They present college coaches the best student-athletes within their database which helps them do less “scouting” and more “recruiting.” Personalized services also benefit the student-athlete if their current situation has not helped them receive enough exposure. There are many reasons athletes lack exposure to the next level, e.g. losing record, low division, not a highly recruited state, grades, size, etc. which is why recruiting services can help with each individual need.
Automated services offer a platform that gives college coaches and high school student-athletes a place to connect. The service does not promote the athlete to the coaches, nor does it present the coaches to the athlete, but it does give them a chance to search for one another based on their each individual need.
